Cleveland’s premier Barhopper, Rob Turek, was cool enough to set up and mc “Drink Slingin’ Speed Demon”. Turek teaches flair bartending in Cleveland http://www.startenders.net/ the event held at whiskey Island, one of the many cool bars featured on http://www.clevelandbarhopper.com/ was a great success. Held on a Tuesday night the event attracted many of Cleveland’s Service industry.
Josh Goldurs (one of the flair bartenders) won the event. 2nd place went to Ducky, who used to work at Liquid, 3rd went to Andy Walsh from Diversions in Chesterland, 4th went to Carlos Corona from Sarava on Shaker Square, 5th went to Shanna, pictured above with Turek, 6th went to Laura Sharpe from Pug Mahones and 7th place went to Mike Jones from Baxter’s Sports Bar in North Royalton. Next year’s event will be even bigger.
